Ilahiya college is located in Tirurkad which is a well-connected educational township. Tirurkad is situated 15 km away from Malappuram (The district headquarters) on the Kozhikkode - Palakkad National Highway, 5 km from Perinthalmanna, the nearest municipal town and 3 km from Angadipuram railway station.

Ilahiya College Established during 1967, is a pioneer institution in the field of religious education. It is a self financing institution affiliated to the Calicut University since 2010 and is having Afzal Ul Ulama preliminary (2 year course), BA Afzal Ul Ulama (3 year course), Proffessional and Islamic Course (3 year course) and School of Quran and Islamic Studies for upper primary students.
